Saturday Produce Party
Drive out food insecurity at the Grassroots Grocery Produce Party!
Every Saturday, people from all walks of life come together to bring the pantry to the people.
You’re invited to:
Drive- Bring your car and we’ll fill it up with produce for you to deliver to a community drop-off site.
Pack- Help unload, sort, and pack thousands of pounds of bountiful produce with your neighbors.
Drive AND Pack- Pack and sort, then load up the car and drive it straight to the people who need it most.
Make a Difference on Saturday Mornings
Here’s how it works. On Saturday mornings, a wild and wonderful group of volunteers come together at 1750 East Gun Hill Road Bronx NY 10469, Gun Hill Commons.
There, we:
Unpack and sort a literal truckload of fresh surplus produce
Pack it up and load it into cars
Drive it to community drop-off sites run by Grassroots Grocers
All before noon!
