Here’s what you can expect!
1. Meet in the Bronx at 9am!
We’ll meet at 1957 Turnbull Avenue - just a 25 minute drive from St. Augustine’s - at 9am. And we’ll get excited for our day of impact!
2. Sort and pack over 8,000 pounds of fresh produce!
We’ll work together to unload a truck filled with over 8,000 lbs of unsold produce rescued from the biggest produce market in the US. Fun for folks of all ages!
3. Make a delivery to a community in need!
At 10:30am (ish!), we’ll part ways and #driveouthunger. You’ll stop at one of 30+ pre-assigned community sites - where you’ll be greeted by a community leader who will distribute your harvest directly to neighbors in need.
